ERA Aviation (purchased by SEACOR), serves the lucrative “crew-change” market for deep-water oil drillers and explorers in the Gulf of Mexico. ERA came to us in need of a flight system that can track weather patterns, location of the aircraft, and fuel consumption in one lightweight system. SDSol met their needs and more. Flights are plotted over a map that is interfaced with GPS coordinates, fuel usage, mileage, and weather patterns and service updates. It doesn’t stop there however; the same backbone can be used for trucking, boating, and a wide variety of other real world applications.
